Emerging in 2012, Spiral Shades is a doom metal project ignited by a shared aspiration between two distinct minds spanning different nations. Khushal Bhadra a Mumbai-based guitarist and songwriter from India, and Filip Petersen, a guitarist hailing from Vennesla, Norway, converged through Youtube, united by their mutual affinity towards 70's heavy doom and progressive rock. Their first demo Hypnosis Sessions garnered underground doom metal acclaim, leading to a deal with Ridingeasy Records.
