Spirit Haus

Spirit Haus formed late in 2014 as a lofi recording project by singer/songwriter, Bruno Catrambone, of the indie-pop band <a href="spotify:artist:1jNnM5dm7dzt16IocWCvJc" data-name="CRUISR">CRUISR</a> and alt-folk outfit <a href="spotify:artist:6oT0bXVETRq4oVtfhQcZIq" data-name="Former Belle">Former Belle</a>.

In-between tours, Catrambone worked on songs by collecting little demos of ideas and recording them with just a mic and a laptop. When the demos started to take shape and turn into finished songs, he decided to release them as they became complete; Starting with his first single, &#39;I Know You&#39;re Worried&#39;, followed by a cover of Broken Social Scene&#39;s, &#39;Lover&#39;s Spit&#39;.

After his initial releases, not sure if anything would become of the project, Catrambone spent the following two years on and off the road with CRUISR (supporting tours with the likes of the 1975, Misterwives, PVRIS, Matt &amp; Kim); putting recording and future releases for Spirit Haus on hold.

In 2018, having some time at home again, the project was revisited with a new approach and concentration on home-production and songwriting. Teaming up with CRUISR band mate, Andy States, the two co-produced and mixed the first single from his new set of Spirit Haus songs, &#39;You Don&#39;t Love Me (Like You Used To)&#39; followed by their second co-production, ‘Talk (feat. Lucy Stone)’.

Spirit Haus has taken on a larger presence in Catrambone’s music concentration as he spent most of 2019 demoing and producing new material set to be released throughout 2020.
His first new release of the year entitled, ‘Fevers’, is due out January 30, 2020.
