Jesse Valadez from Utah, SLC is a Hip-Hop artist & compulsive songwriter with over 1500+ songs written. Known by his stage name “S.P.I.T”, Jesse’s refined skill as a lyricist is very apparent in the compelling stories & messages that are integral parts of his music. As 1 versatile artist with substance, each song brings flare that comes rarely, & lies beyond the beat.
Growing up in the foster system, Jesse found solace in writing poetry. Times difficult to reach out to others, he found his voice expressed in the poetic verses he wrote.
Naturally, poetry writing evolved into songwriting & has been at it ever since.
Through Hip-Hop/ Rap , he hopes to not only bring awareness to the hardships endured by children in the system;by giving a voice to those who need to be heard. His message embodied by his encouragement in others would be to embrace their strengths & weaknesses, & to realize that we all have a story to tell, each one just as important as another.
