Born and raised in Detroit, G.Clyde was exposed to the entertainment industry at the age of two. At 9 he joined his school band as a percussionist, later leading his middle and high school bands, going on to become an elite producer. In 1993, Clyde begin creating his own lyrics. With a new goal in mind in 2006, Clyde formed his label called Stacklynn Records and begin recording as GangstaClyde. He created a new sound which he calls “Urban Rhythm”. GangstaClyde is the embodiment of Detroit music. He has witnessed the evolvement as a whole, and has evolved himself and his music into what is soon to be legend.
