Stacy Capers

An American singer/songwriter, creating smooth, R&B/neo-soul music to speak to the heart. Stacy Capers's lyricism draws from personal experiences, with a dedication to relating to and inspiring others through the form of song.


Born in Charleston, SC, Stacy Capers first fell in love with music by singing at her local church. Her passion for songwriting began at age 12, inspired by lyricists such as Sara Bareilles, Ingrid Michaelson, and Regina Spektor. In 2014, Stacy enrolled at Furman University, where she studied music and classical voice. During her college years, she enjoyed performing on stage with the student-led music theatre group on campus, and singing with her co-ed a capella ensemble. In recent years, much of her musical inspiration comes from artists such as H.E.R., Daniel Caesar, and Khalid to name a few.


In August 2019, Stacy released her first single, "Addicted", debuting her journey as an artist. Her follow up single "Breathe" was released in September 2019. She is looking forward to releasing more music and an EP later this year.
