Starcloud

Starcloud is an oriental pop rock band, combining rock with Asian themes and Mysticism in their music. Originally formed out of a University party band in Finland, the group developed their own musical style and started playing their own material. After many years of soul searching including several years living in Asia, the singer-songwriter Blaze Summers assembled the band again with impressive amount of material and Starcloud started recording their debut album.

Absolute Elsewhere was released as a CD in 2013, with 10 songs ranging from oriental and classic rock to ballads and hard rock. It also has lyrics addressing far-reaching topics in the Western and Eastern societies. But recording the follow-up album was postponed forcing the band to take a long hiatus when the singer was struck by serious illness. After recovering fully, he returned to the studio to finish the vocals on the album, which will be called Electric Church. The band will officially regroup again in 2019 with the first single being published in February and the full album coming out the following year.
