He&#39;s the flagship artist for the independent label, Grind Hard, of which he is also the CEO. <a href="spotify:artist:4SjND9kT6Ja5TSPZTyUUab" data-name="Starlito">Starlito</a> released his first mixtape in November of 2003, during his Sophomore year at Tennessee State University. January 2005 he signed a record deal with Cash Money/Universal Motown through a partnership with <a href="spotify:artist:6Ha4aES39QiVjR0L2lwuwq" data-name="Yo Gotti">Yo Gotti</a>, under the stage name &quot;All Star Cashville Prince&quot;. By 2011, Star formally changed his name and began his independent journey with a very grassroots approach centered around disintermediation.
