Starving Insect is a Swedish hardcore, industrial techno and doomcore producer and DJ. Starting out in the mid 00's with a series of releases on legendary gabber label Mokum Records under the name of Despairful Tomorrow, he eventually re-established himself firmly in the underground industrial hardcore and doomcore scene as Starving Insect.
While his roots remain in hardcore, influences from EBM, dark ambient and acid techno are obvious in both his music and mixes.
