Seattle indie-rock band Stellarator was formed by Pat Stirrat and Theron Stevenson in February 2018. They soon recruited long-time collaborators Neel Daniel (bass guitar) & Pete Glase (drums) to make it a 4-piece band, and recorded their debut EP, “Pins & Wires” (June 2018).
The songs on “Pins & Wires” showcased the band's love of indie pop/rock and strong hooks. For these recordings, they brought in a few guest musicians including John Stirrat (trumpet, bass guitar) & Henry Stirrat (drums, percussion).
Building on chemistry of P&W, they wrote and released a second EP, “Under Different Stars.” Also back on this record were John and Henry Stirrat who played trumpet (John) and drums (Henry). Rounding things off was a special appearance by Carl Hamilton on backing vocals on Mesmerizing.
In October 2021 they released their newest EP, called "Another Stripe for the Tiger"
