After releasing two albums of Swedish synth-pop in 2022 and 2023, STENLUND returned in 2025 with the first single in a series of new atmospheric instrumental tracks. Now STENLUND is going international!
STENLUND, who is part of the new synth wave, has his roots in the synth and post-punk of the early 80s and draws musical inspiration from bands such as Depeche Mode, Human League, and The Cure, but his interest in music was born the first time he heard David Bowie – and in his own music you can also sense references to the English style icon's Berlin trilogy and albums such as Low and "Heroes".
However, the sum of all the influential elements is 100% STENLUND.
