Songwriter Steph Maguire is a powerhouse Americana artist with rock nā roll Stevie Nicks vibes. She writes from her own experiences in heartbreak, tenacity, struggle, and triumph. Steph is backed by a high caliber band. Together, they put on a show full of energy that can be felt from the door. The bands influences include Lynyrd Skynyrd, Fleetwood Mac, Koe Wetzle, Morgan Wade, Hardy, and more.
Her humble roots are in Syracuse, NY, where she grew up on Oneida Lake not far from mountains and farms, where she spent much of her childhood. She wrote poetry and songs as a way to escape the trials of an angry household and hard school years. At 18, Steph joined the fire department and served as a firefighter/EMT for 8 years, working as part of the emergency crew at a drag racing track and a Fire Marshall for an industrial plant.
Divorced and defeated, she moved to North Carolina for a fresh start, where she found more heartbreak and hard times, which pushed her to share her music with others for the first time at open mics. She quickly thereafter found herself with a high octane band headlining major ticketed venues in Raleigh, NC.
After touring with her original band, Rebel's Fox, for 2 years, she decided to move to Nashville, TN, along with some of her band members to continue her story. Steph currently plays on Nashvilles' famous Broadway and travels across the US, making regular appearances across the Midwest, southeast, and beyond.
