Brisbane emo/metalcore juggernauts, Stepson, will emerge again on March 1st with their latest single, ‘Discover Lonely’. This release signifies a shift from the band’s former ‘sadboy’ reputation, delving into darker tones with more intensity, while still retaining the emotional core that defines their signature sound.
Produced by Callan Orr of Avalanche Studios and mixed by Lance Prenc, ‘Discover Lonely’ transcends the boundaries of their previous work, exploring themes of inner turmoil and self reflection. The song will mark a new era for the band, seeing them explore a side to them, previously unseen.
The band will be touring in April in support of the release, seeing them stop in Adelaide, Melbourne, Canberra, Newcastle, Wollongong, Sydney and Brisbane.
