Steve Brown is a singer/songwriter based in Fairbanks, Alaska. His music is a seamless amalgam of honky tonk, bluegrass, and Americana rock (see Tom Petty and Wilco).
After touring the state behind three albums, How Things Start, Things Change, and Lonely House, with his band Steve Brown and the Bailers, Steve is working on his first solo collection of songs starting with tracks recorded for the first time at home and adding tracks from current and former band members as well as other Alaskan musicians.
