Steve studied music performance at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC and plays stages ranging from The House of Blues, The Rock Boat music festival, all the way to acoustic house concerts. He has been fortunate enough to tour the country (solo & full band) with national acts like Hunter Hayes, Cassadee Pope, & Sister Hazel. Steve’s music is featured in NASCAR Heat 2, 4, & 5. His four full-length albums have been nominated for "Album Of The Year" at The Independent Music Awards. Steve’s songs “The Only Way” (written by Steve) & “LMNOP” (written with Adam Doleac) were semi-finalists at the International Songwriting Competition, while his song “What’s In The Well” won 3rd place in 2023. Everett's single “PICK YOUR HEAD UP” was featured in Rolling Stone’s monthly top ten list. Steve also loves film, golf, & cigars.
