Steve Madewell is a singer songwriter from Northeast Ohio. He has recorded three CDs: Hometown Blues, Arrow Creek, and Rivers and Trails. He performs at a number of local wineries and clubs and occasionally travels for special performances. His parents left middle Tennessee after WWII and moved to Dayton, Ohio. He grew up singing southern gospel and classic country songs. His older brothers introduced Steve to rock and roll, and contemporary folk music. He played his first paying "gig" at 13 and has been performing since. He has also been, and remains deeply committed to conservation and land preservation. Steve enjoyed a remarkable career as a park administrator. He served as the director of three of Ohio's largest park systems.
