I’m Stevie Jo, a vocalist, instrumentalist, and songwriter. Starting my career in earnest at the age of 19 as <a href="spotify:artist:23zg3TcAtWQy7J6upgbUnj" data-name="USHER">USHER</a>’s protege on Season 6 of NBC’s The Voice, while rubbing elbows with notable artists such as <a href="spotify:artist:4oUHIQIBe0LHzYfvXNW4QM" data-name="Morgan Wallen">Morgan Wallen</a>, the late <a href="spotify:artist:0Cav8jyZKAHMFbAusOmjku" data-name="Christina Grimmie">Christina Grimmie</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:1EEuN5YJWn70WP9YkfW38X" data-name="Lake Stovall">Lake Stovall</a>, I began the beautiful journey of finding myself and my sound while establishing a career in the industry. The one and only mufkatastic <a href="spotify:artist:5LO7cenOjC73GL0USuP675" data-name="Collin Hauser">Collin Hauser</a> and I are founding members of <a href="spotify:artist:71DDtZPe7astMAnnfb8rV3" data-name="The Culdesac Kids">The Culdesac Kids</a>.

Growing up in Tyler, TX, I come from a wide array of influences, from metal and rock alternative, to R&amp;B and soul, and later jazz. I have taken my time to discover my place as a songwriter and performer. I’m originally a drummer and guitarist, and as a writer I’ve always wanted to express my deepest sentiments about life and existence. I’m inspired by the flawless soulful vocals of <a href="spotify:artist:536osqBGKzeozje8BfcGsa" data-name="Allen Stone">Allen Stone</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:7CIW23FQUXPc1zebnO1TDG" data-name="Matt Corby">Matt Corby</a>, and I’m enamored with the artistry of <a href="spotify:artist:24icoQNJSEWNu3XvqKBR68" data-name="Jordan Rakei">Jordan Rakei</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:43JlwunhXm1oqdKyOa2Z9Y" data-name="Hiatus Kaiyote">Hiatus Kaiyote</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:0hDjKSKjl1DC7ovYTDJHe8" data-name="Bruno Major">Bruno Major</a>.
