Stone Komo was born on September 2, 1992 in Kinshasa. During his childhood he is immersed in the rumba's musical universe of his family because he is the nephew of tex MAMBOTE, former of Grand Zaïko.
In 2004, he became aware of his love for art and joined the Kimbanguiste philharmonic orchestra where he was introduced to the violin for two years. After this short stint in classical art, he first became interested in fine arts from which he graduated with a state diploma in plastic art in 2010 before discovering his vocation for singing in 2013 by joining the choir that accompanies Pegguy Tabu in the recording of the album «100 Tabu».
After several years of experimentation in the underground in 2019, he participates in Vodacom Best of The Best in which he finishes at the 4th step of the podium, and begins to make himself known by the general public, thanks to his special voice timbre.
The following year, he signed a production contract with the label Bomaye Musik Africa, whose first single of this collaboration is "Marié" with Youssoupha, and allows it to go on major media such as Trace Tv, Radio Africa, etc.
At the beginning of 2021, Love Lab (Ep), was born and met with success because it accumulated more than 460,000 audio streams and ranked the artist in the top 10 of the Congolese artists of the new scene most listened.
Stone Komo is an artist to follow very closely mixing Congolese rumba sounds with those of Zouk. Veritable standard bearer of the Afro Luv.
