In an age of short attention spans and constant media bombardment, Subfractal have unquestionably cemented their position as powerful techno tastemakers.
A burgeoning electronic music scene and a common love of techno brought together Fahad Ahmad and Syed Raza back in ’06 where they met in Toronto, Canada. After collaborating on a handful of projects, the musical chemistry between the duo became evident, and Subfractal was born.
Since then, their brand of brooding, driving, beautifully dark techno has been propelling them up the ranks of the electronic music scene. Subfractal’s releases routinely appear in the upper echelons of countless worldwide electronic music rankings.
Back in 2009, their remix of Larry Power’s ‘Milk’ spent over six weeks in the highly coveted #1 spot on Beatport Minimal. Since then, their releases have seen success in the Top 100 Techno charts on several occasions and expect more to come.
Acclaimed performances at the Winter Music Conference, Detroit Electronic Movement Festival and many clubs around the world including the legendary Tresor in Berlin, have seen Subfractal rip dancefloors apart with showcases of their booming underground music.
