Born in St. Andrew Jamaica, it was clear from an early age, that music is Suckarie’s destiny. “When I couldn’t find him, all I would have to do is listen closely and I’d hear him in a cupboard somewhere playing drums on pots and pans,” said his mom. Growing up with musical inspiration everywhere in Jamaica, he then after moved to New York and started putting his passion for music to work. Suckarie soon joined forces with fellow creatives, forming a chart topping, internationally recognized band, New Kingston. With years of touring the world and working with artists across the globe, Suckarie has now stepped into his own lane as a solo artist. With a host of collaborations and new music, Suckarie is telling his story, his way!
