The solo project of Singapore based Artist-Producer Daryl Hor, Sun Cell draws from the visceral nature of 80's New Wave and Post-Punk, pairing them with lush soundscapes and catchy guitar riffs to explore themes of yearning, retrospection and melancholia resulting in a sound that invokes both nostalgia for days gone, and a yearning for days to come.
Making his debut in 2022 with the song 'New Year', he has since released 17 tracks, been featured as the opening act for Linying's debut headline show 'There's Still Time' , and most recently performed as a featured act in Singaporean alternative music festival 'Baybeats 2023'.
Daryl is currently working towards his debut album, slated for release in 2025, with 'your house' and 'Coastlines' being featured singles.
