Sunday Night Syndrome is the Electro-Pop alias of french producer and songwriter Jonathan Maurin. Jonathan's influences are very diverse, as a result Sunday Night Syndrome's music displays a broad range of atmospheres, borrowing tones and production styles from Indie, Pop-Rock or EDM.
The tracks have in common a dramatic, almost cinematic character, that feels like a camera looking in on other people's lives.
The songs have an emotional experience to them, as well as a sense of cautious hopefulness, that makes listeners respond.
Influences include artists like CHVRCHES, Illenium, Au/Ra, Sasha Sloan, San Holo...
Originally a trio founded by Jonathan, SNS released a self-titled EP as a group in 2015, additional members were composer Clément Dumas and singer Elyne Schielke. The group ended a year later. In 2018 Jonathan decided to revive the project as a solo artist.
