Hailing from the Ozarks, Sunset to Burns crafts a blend they call "Missouri music," a mix of raw
power and subtle nuance. With the present lineup having played together since 2017, this
quintet has evolved into a force to be reckoned with their sound steeped in the rich history of
their Ozarks roots, yet always looking forward, blazing their own trail.

The band's sound is shaped by Lucas Roberts' rhythmic guitar and vocals, backed by the robust
bass and vocals of Jeffrey Johnson. Kenson Ashton's driving banjo and Jeffrey Thompson's
enchanting lead guitar add depth, while Scott Stufflebam's energetic drumming rounds out the
ensemble. All members contribute to songwriting, with four providing lead vocals and
harmonies, each adding a distinct layer to the band's rich sonic tapestry.

Drawing from the wellsprings of alt-country, Americana, and the alternative era of the 90s,
Sunset to Burns delivers a mix that can only be categorized as uniquely their own. From
foot-stomping barn-burners to introspective ballads, their music is an unfiltered expression of
their shared experiences, each song a story unto itself.

Their upcoming debut album, building on the foundation of their earlier EPs, promises to be a
large step in their journey. While they've come a long way from their early days, the band's
commitment to authentic, heartfelt music remains unwavering. Sunset to Burns is not just a
band – it's a trip down the trails of America's musical heritage with a fresh, modern twist.
