Blending Alt-Pop sensibility with infectious Post-Hardcore inspired guitar work and brooding Synthwave textures, Sunsleep is a truly unique addition to genre-fusion Alternative Music.
With humble beginnings as a Dallas Texas based band united with Singer/Songwriter and Producer <a href="spotify:artist:2o83XrEWtbrLhTcZBxq3Y1" data-name="Devin Barrus">Devin Barrus</a> of Salt Lake City Utah, Sunsleep debuted in 2018 onto the scene with their highly acclaimed EP <a href="spotify:album:4zOe5s4UGT3OJw7efKsxHG" data-name="I Hope to See Again With Brand New Eyes">I Hope to See Again With Brand New Eyes</a>. After extensive touring and a handful of singles later the band signed with Sacramento label imprint “SBG” in 2021 releasing their first full-length album <a href="spotify:track:6DsrIE5jHnuRbaaTHCtE6k" data-name="Moonlight Euphoria">Moonlight Euphoria</a> boasting at no. 31 on “Top New Artist Albums” on Billboard. Shortly after the release of Moonlight Euphoria Sunsleep officially disbanded from its Dallas based line-up and Devin Barrus remained the sole artist as of 2024.
