Sunwheel are a British indie rock band reawakened after a 26-year slumber. Emerging from Derby’s 90s university circuit and the vibrant London scene, the original five members reunited in 2024 to reignite the spark that once lit up packed clubs and student unions across the UK.

Blending nostalgic dreamscapes with fresh energy, Sunwheel’s music fuses jangly guitars, swirling synths, and heartfelt lyrics into anthems for both old souls and new romantics. Their comeback single, Ferris Wheels (and Laser Beams), reintroduces listeners to their cinematic sound, followed by the raw, live intimacy of Live at Dubrek Studios.

Now back in full force, Sunwheel are writing, recording, and performing with a renewed sense of purpose—and they’re just getting started.
