Formed in Fall of 2021 by Sarah Pray (Carrellee) and Bobby Hussy (The Hussy, Wristwatch, Whippets). The band cites Mazzy Star, Low, and My Bloody Valentine as the major influences. Cocteau Twins and Spacemen 3 are additional reference points. Contemplative and introspective songs featuring wide dynamic range, peppered with hints of psychedelia. Much slower and moodier than any of Hussy’s previous output, and more rock n’ roll than anything Carrellee has done, the band is a new frontier for both of the main contributors. Dead Luke (Ex-Zola Jesus, Lonesome Savages) lends his hand on bass duties across the entire album, creating a powerfully informed low end full of 60s vibes and kraut rock adornments.
