Surferosa is a rock band from Norway formed in 2000, known for its distinct costumes and trashy electrified pop music. The band's musical style is primarily rock with punk/new wave and dance music influences and has been labeled "thrash pop". The band had a number of hits until 2009, when they decided to take an indefinite hiatus. They also achieved success outside Norway, particularly in England, Germany and Japan.
In 2025, Surferosa made a welcome and surprising comeback with the release of their single "In The Dead Of The Night". The 2025 edition of Surferosa consists of Mariann Thomassen (vocals, keyboards), Andreas Orheim (keyboards), Kjetil Wevling (guitar), Tobias Flottorp Heltzer (bass) and Henrik Gustavsen (drums).
