Susie lives and breathes the language of music naturally with the backdrop of a musically immersed family environment, and her happy place is wherever she can communicate through voice, song-writing, and performing. Since the age of 5, Susie has spent her life making music her voice. Her career in collaborative piano flowed out of her degree in piano performance from the Eastman School of Music. She enjoys touring and performing with her duo970 featuring flutist James Hall and herself. “SONGBIRD” double LP is her record release (2023/2024) with duo970, featuring all of Stephanie Ann Boyd’s works for flute and piano/chamber music. Maddocks has had her own work recorded and used in a film featured at the Vail Film Festival and North Hollywood CineFest.
