Svenn Huneide has been shaped by music for as long as he can remember. Gifted from an early age, he stepped into the spotlight at just 12 years old, singing, performing, and switching effortlessly between instruments. But it wasn’t until he moved to Oslo that his musical journey truly found its direction. There, he discovered his second home: the legendary venue Smuget, a vibrant stage that became the launchpad for his professional career.
Throughout the ’90s, Svenn performed in several bands, most notably the popular vocal collective Rondoservitørene, which appeared weekly on Norwegian broadcaster NRK and helped establish him as a charismatic and versatile performer.
By the end of the decade, he joined the melodic rock band Stoneflower, contributing to three critically acclaimed albums and cementing his reputation in the Norwegian rock community. His musical path also led him to collaborate with the iconic ’80s band Da Vinci, before later becoming a member of the melodic rock outfit Memoria Avenue, further expanding his creative footprint.
At 49, Svenn embraced a long-time dream and released his first solo EP, “Just in Time,” a personal milestone that showcased his songwriting depth and artistic maturity.
In 2020, he ventured into new territory with the pop/country project Western Sons, for which he wrote all music and lyrics. The album marked yet another chapter in his diverse and ever-evolving musical story.
