Sverdkamp is an American Black Metal project founded by former electronic musician Ivy Anderson in 2024.
Anderson founded Sverdkamp under the name “Saubern” (meaning pure or clean in German) as a Dark Ambient and Dungeon Synth project. The rebrand was quick, as Ivy changed the name to Sverdkamp. In February 2025, Ivy did photoshoots with their partner, Charlie Armstrong. Sverdkamp’s Debut Single, “Eternal Silence over Golgotha,” was released on March 1st, 2025, as the 12th release on Ivy’s label, Final Submission Records. The track was recorded alone by Ivy. On March 14th, Ivy released Sverdkamp’s Debut EP, Nazgûl, on vinyl. It is named after the Undead Servants from Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings. It is a three-track EP comprised of three tracks all recorded by Anderson. The three tracks (Romance/A Life of Filth, the previously released Eternal Silence over Golgotha, and As the Flame Burns) contain lyrics about the death of Jesus and fantasy It was the first release under the Black Metal subsidiary of Final Submission Records, MØRKE. On March 25th, Sverdkamp welcomed a new member, Alaric.
