To Sw1tch, hip-hop is much more than just music. It’s a way of connecting with the world at large and communicating with like-minded individuals from every walk of life. Driven by his genuine love of the genre, Sw1tch is out to put his own individual spin on rap music and establish himself as an innovative presence in international hip-hop.
Inspired by the swagger of J. Cole, the vulnerability of Frank Ocean, and the versatility of Mac Miller, he diligently set about creating his own unique sound. The resulting style pays tributes to the legends while adding additional flavour from Sw1tch himself.
Sw1tch emerged with his first single, ‘I’m on Fire,’ early in 2020. With its laid-back romantic vibe, the track set the stage for what was about to come next. He followed that up with a set of singles and collaborations, also making his video debut as a featured artist on Jammin’ Alone’s single ‘Escape.’
Sw1tch currently spends most of his free time in the studio, refining his signature sound and exploring new modes of expression with every production. With new, heavier releases expected in 2021 and beyond, Sw1tch is inviting you to connect with his music.
