SWELL FELLAS

SWELL FELLAS is the story of four friends who found surfing in their early twenties and got instantly hooked.

From Porthcawl to Peniche, ever since then the SWELL FELLAS have been perennially searching for waves that are definitely too big, and riding boards that are probably too small.

When there were no waves - SWELL FELLAS experimented with instruments, and created what they like to call their own brand of laid-back Indie Surf music.

After years of keeping the music to to themselves (with the exception of a couple of clumsy open-mic performances in surf towns across mainland Europe) - the time has come to release the archive.

Commentators have called their first release 'a beautiful fusion of mellow pop and indie' (Alfitude), with a 'compelling vocal flow' (Alpas Records), and 'a beautiful bluesy electric guitar floated over the top of the mix that has a velvety, buttery tone' (Andrew X).
