Symfobia is a symphonic metal band founded in 2007 in Nitra, Slovakia. Combining
powerful orchestral arrangements, intricate choir vocals and infectious melodic hooks,
the band delivers a rich and energetic sound that appeals to fans of both classic and
modern metal.
Their debut album, Way of the Queen (2015), introduced Symfobia’s signature blend of
epic symphonics and metal intensity. With their second release, Smog of Tomorrow
(2019), they continued to develop their musical identity, addressing themes of
environmental awareness and self-reflection through lyrics that explore deep personal
and global themes.
Symfobia brings together musicians from different generations, merging the experience
and musical maturity of seasoned performers with the energy and creativity of younger
artists. This diversity fuels their dynamic stage presence and unique artistic identity.
Lyrically, the band explores personal emotions, global environmental issues, and the
journey of self-discovery. Their live performances are enhanced by their refined vocal
harmonies, theatrical arrangements, and a commanding stage atmosphere.
Symfobia has performed alongside world-renowned acts such
as Nightwish, Sabaton, Therion, Arch Enemy, Powerwolf, Amaranthe and many
others and has appeared at major metal festivals including Metalfest Open
Air, Masters of Rock, Rock Castle, Rock Heart, Ostrava v Plamenech and Topfest.
