Solo artist SYSON is a UK based vocalist, trumpeter, composer, and producer, who creates organic music that mixes multiple genres and inluences, all anchored in emotion and honesty.
SYSON is a vastly experienced professional music having played at venues such as BBC Proms at The Royal Albert Hall, Ronnie Scotts, the Barbican, Porgy & Bess Vienna and Gibraltar International Jazz Festival, and with the likes of European Radio Jazz Orchestra, Ronnie Scotts Jazz Orchestra and BBC Big Band, and is even a Vincent Bach Trumpet Artist.
He has previously released two critically acclaimed contemporary jazz albums under his full name of Tom Syson, that included a feature interview on BBC Radio 3’s Jazz Now, multiple international radio plays, and reviews from the likes of Jazzwise and London Jazz News. However, he decided to venture into a new artistic venture as ‘SYSON’ in 2024 with the support of Help Musicians UK.
