Systopia

<a href="spotify:artist:03I1BZuG5t3fUMyvzTq4g4" data-name="Systopia">Systopia</a> - power metal with symphonic influences and progressive elements, coupled with clear and powerful female vocals, a far cry from the classically influenced singing often featured in the genre. What started as a project in 2006 - at that time named <a href="spotify:artist:6gSjviOekyR1VoczB9Da0T" data-name="Nemesis">Nemesis</a> - evolved into an institution in the German underground, which played many concerts and local festivals. In May 2017, Systopia was given the chance to play a support slot for <a href="spotify:artist:2KaW48xlLnXC2v8tvyhWsa" data-name="Amaranthe">Amaranthe</a> in Neunkirchen (Ger). Systopia are Rubina Amaranth (vocals), Georg Krömer (guitar), Patrick Kapahnke (guitar) and Mark Schwulera (drums). In this constellation, Systopia released their debut album <a href="spotify:album:5vcmh7WbVXSHzmk2xRo6ET" data-name="Tales from the Unknown">Tales from the Unknown</a>. Drums on this release were recorded with help of Alex Landenburg (<a href="spotify:artist:6tkhw6PSVw7b2M7h5fLBLE" data-name="Cyhra">Cyhra</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1EzRkEPmjf1ZEjTnWVXiQ2" data-name="Mekong Delta">Mekong Delta</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0PRRjT3oYRbOuybmBXzVwP" data-name="Luca Turilli's Rhapsody">Luca Turilli's Rhapsody</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0SyODxD9CJEbyyt8LkiugE" data-name="21Octayne">21Octayne</a>). Mark completed the lineup during the production time period. One song of that album - <a href="spotify:track:2PV71TR8ZMiE2lhlEJvJRQ" data-name="Eternal Fire">Eternal Fire</a> - made it into the official <a href="spotify:user:spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DX37bXS7EGI3f" data-name="Might and Myth: Power Metal">Might and Myth: Power Metal</a> playlist and showcases Systopia in the middle of great power metal bands and musical heroes.
