Adventurers through the many landscapes of music and true world travelers, veterans of 1000-year floods and veggie oil tour buses, David (voice, mandolin, octave mandolin, guitar) Enion Pelta-Tiller (voice, 6-string violin), spin stories and melodies that delight, inspire, and move all who listen. David and Enion created Taarka in Portland, OR in 2002 around their unusual instrumental compositions. Their eponymous album, replete with Celtic, Romanian, and new acoustic inspired tunes, remains a favorite among fans, as do their subsequent 6 releases. A new album is due out in fall of 2022.
