Amsterdam based technohead Tahko (‘89) has been around in the underground techno scene for some years now and made a huge impression on numerous artists and events with his groovy, rollin’ technosound.
With his passionate drive and love for music, he takes the audience on a journey into his own world; a fusion of contemporary grooves with deep hypnotic rhythms like the Detroit originators did before him, with a modern twist.

Tahko’s productions have been released Coincidence Records, Naked Lunch Records, Distortus Music, Eclipse Recordings to name a few. Last year he did a collab with his colleague VNTM which resulted in ‘Rave Culture’ that came out one on Pan Pot’s Second State, followed by a solo project ‘Counting E.P.’ on Secret Cinema’s GEM Records.

He performed at top venues and events like Tresor, Tomorrowland, Day-On Festival, Kompass Klub, Thuishaven, Labyrinth Club, Welcome To The Future, Valhalla, de Marktkantine, Toffler alongside Industrialyzer, Marco Bailey, Flug, Cari Lekebusch, Gary Beck, Charlotte de Witte, Nicole Moudaber, Fatima Haji and many more artists alike. 

In 2022 new original material from Tahko is coming up and with gigs at Loveland, Welcome to The Future and 18HRS amongst others, the future looks promising for this Amsterdam technobomb.
