"Everything dies...but not everything stays dead." -Elisa Paige (Killing Time)

It wasn't too long ago that a scrappy young band from Charlotte, NC figuratively threw in the towel after 5 years, 2 albums, 491 shows and 3 cross country tours. Friendship and the lasting bond that the band was founded on took precedence over the business side of the industry.

Fast forward almost 3 years and 2020 has seen the return of Take the Fall, and they have returned with a bang in the form of a new EP "Party with a Purpose". Produced by Shane Crump (Alesana, The Ivory) and Taylor Veraldi (From Ashes to New), the EP is a 6 song, 21 minute sucker punch that brilliantly displays the energy and charisma the band has pushed to capture since day one. Leading off with the high energy, guitar heavy single "Tell Me" and closing with the final, quiet, acoustic notes of "Poet", the album quickly and urgently shows the listener exactly what Take the Fall has been about from the beginning.

"Party with a Purpose" debuts worldwide on June 1st, 2020. As for plans after that: who knows? Take the Fall certainly doesn't.

"Everything dies eventually. We all know that. People, cities, whole civilizations. Nothing lasts. So if existence was just binary, dead or alive, here or not here, what would be the fucking point in anything?" -Isaac Marion (Warm Bodies)
