Tanger are Colorado-based graduates of the <a href="spotify:artist:52ZFTGbQ9miWMX8JYBvtOO">Steve Albini</a> school of noisy punk. Having gotten their start in 1995, guitarist/vocalist Jason Chinnock and bassist Jason Cope would endure a number of drummers before finally settling with Jon Linn in late 1998.
