Tassid began DJing in 1999 after experiencing Acid Techno and Techno at free parties in the UK. He fell in love with the tough, gritty, uncompromising sound and soon turned his attention towards production. His main influences are the Stay Up Forever collective due to the punk attitude that came along with the dirty Techno and the free parties. After a few years of crafting and refining his own version of the ‘London’ sound he began to gain attention for his high energy, fast paced, dark Techno and Acid. After having releases on respected labels such as Corrosive Records, Stay Up Forever, Cluster and Maximum Minimum, to name a few, Tassid decided to start his own label SKUXX, as an outlet for his own style of free party Techno. Soon after he joined forces with OB1 and Austin Corrosive to start SYSTEM REJECTS a vinyl only label releasing Techno and Acid. In recent years Tassid has been DJing all over the UK as well as playing countries such as Brazil, Spain, Czech Republic, France and Poland, His label SKUXX has gone from strength to strength and Tassid has been gaining support from DJ’s and producers such as Perc, SPFDJ, VTSS, I Hate Models, Chris Liberator, D.A.V.E The Drummer, 99999999, Dax J, Slam DJ’s and Antigone.
