Compared to the likes of <a href="spotify:artist:1jSaZgaKHmgc7VTgML528r">Clap Your Hands Say Yeah</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:0XSqX2PB3C5dTMv7SZaxSm">Wolf Parade</a>, Team William are a Belgian quartet renowned for their chaotic and energetic indie pop sound. Floris De Decker, Arne Sunaert, Douwe Van Maele, and Bert Moerman (the latter two of whom were replaced by Thomas Mortier and Antoni "Toni" Foscez), formed in 2008, the same year they finished third in the Humo's Rock Rally contest. A year later they hired <a href="spotify:artist:3UhIlk54Oe4ja06V962ptU">Triggerfinger</a> drummer Mario Goossens to produce their critically acclaimed self-titled debut, and after well-received performances at Pukkelpop and a support slot with <a href="spotify:artist:16eRpMNXSQ15wuJoeqguaB">the Flaming Lips</a>, they signed to <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22EMI%22">EMI</a> and began work on their second album. ~ Jon O'Brien, Rovi
