A Belgian rock star who earned a name for himself working with eventual dEUS guitarist Mauro Pawlowski in the band Evil Superstars -- with which he won a major rock competition -- as well as the band he formed on his own, Millionaire, Tim Vanhamel eventually chose to go down the solo path, releasing his debut album, Welcome to the Blue House -- a decidedly less "rock" oriented affair than his work with his previous bands, the album was described by some in the Belgian rock press as having an "easy listening" quality, whatever that may mean -- on the PIAS label in January of 2008. He also toured with the Eagles of Death Metal that same year. ~ Chris True, Rovi
