Teck

Gitansh Arora known as “Teck” is a singer-songwriter currently based in Canberra, Australia. Teck was born and brought up in Noida and is deeply connected to his Indian roots, especially to the indie music scene and artists with whom he developed close bonds over many late night streaming sessions on discord. Discord was where he consolidated his roots to the indie music world by hosting servers to talk about his favorite artists. Moving to Australia was an uprooting of sorts, and to cope with the new changes he began writing as a way of expressing his innermost , which he believes would resonate with almost anyone trying to find their place in the world. When he shared his writing with the artists he admires the most who also happen to be his friends, they encouraged him to delve into the world of music, this time as an artist himself. Following the release of a few remixes and a single “Naam” in 2020 and “Khwaab”,“Khaas” and “Jaane Do” in 2021, he released his first album “Tum” in early 2021 where he collaborated with producer Hurricane and other producers like Eyepatch and Deorachit. Tum was featured on publications like Suffle Music Magazine and The Gensis Magazine and was aired on the Canberra morning radio.
