Light and darkness. Eyes closed on a journey to your own emotions. The melodies change the rhythm of your heartbeat, while you silently listen to every word sung. It feels like we are all connected and it’s so obviously honest and real.

When Tereza Lavičková and Miroslav Patočka founded the duo teepee in 2015, it was clear to them that they didn't want to shout for attention or fight for their place in the vast digital sound ocean of our time with sheer volume. Their gaze, their language - lyrically and musically is aimed inwards. The foundation of their artistic work is found in their own experience and feeling of upheavals, injuries and conflicts. And it is from here that teepee draw their special power to change the seemingly unchangeable, to say the unsaid, to bring the repressed into the light.
