Our upcoming third album will not be available on Spotify. We have also removed our self-released EPs and singles from Spotify.
Due to contract reasons albums released by our label will stay until we regain their master rights.
We don’t want to fund AI war tech with our music, and the recent investments of over 600 million by Spotify CEO Daniel Ek towards an AI military startup solidified the decision. There are several other reasons to boycott Spotify so it was an easy decision to make.
We are aware that no platform is perfect but Spotify has the most power in the music industry. 90% of our digital revenue comes from Spotify, so we think this is an impactful boycott.
We have been inspired by other artists that have come to the same conclusion before us. Thank you to all of them! You can still stream our music on other platforms. We especially recommend Bandcamp and Tidal.
