TELLAMAN's distinctive sound is the result of a lifetime immersed in music. Raised in a musically giftedhousehold, with a singer for a mother, he was introduced to gospel music at an early age through church. Surrounded by diverse sounds and
styles throughout his childhood, he developed a deep appreciation for multiple genres-an influence that would later shape his unique artistic identity.

Known professionally as TELLAMAN-a nickname derived from his real name. Thelumusa-he is a self- taught musician who began his musical journey at just 15 years old in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, where he was born and raised. Starting out as a beat-maker, he spent countless hours writing and recording in his bedroom studio, and by 2008 had made the decision to pursue music full-time.

Blending a universal sound with deeply relatable lyrics. TELLAMAN draws inspiration from everyday life, emotions. and real-world experiences. "I believe people haveto feel something in order to react, change, or create, can be that spark in everyone's life." he says, "I hope my music can be that spark in everyone’s life.”
