The Big Hash (born Tshegetso Reabetswe Kungwane) is a South African rapper, singer, and songwriter shaping a fresh sound that bridges hip-hop and R&B.
After making waves with his debut EP DEVO, Hash dropped out of school to pursue music full-time, releasing The Big Hash Theory (2017) and Life & Times of a Teenage Influence (2018). His breakthrough came with Young (2019), which earned award nominations and made him the youngest South African musician to become a global Adidas ambassador.

Now operating under his label DEVO Music Group, Hash’s catalog includes hits featured on Netflix’s Blood & Water and the FIFA 2023 soundtrack. His albums Better Late Than Never and HEARTBREAK HOTEL both reached #1 on Apple Music’s R&B charts, earning multiple SAMA nominations.
