Teresa Huntsman was born and raised in deep-south Alabama and grew up listening to a pot-pourri of music, including 60's & 70's pop-rock, blues, big-band jazz, classical, folk-pop, and Southern rock. She started playing rhythm acoustic guitar in her early teens. Over the years, she played with different guitarists and pianists, learning, growing, and progressing with every musician. Teresa always loved working out the chords to songs she'd hear on the radio. This skill served her well when she began collaborating in 2014 with her singer-songwriter husband, Walt Huntsman. The duo came to be known as Seattle Goes South, performing originals and covers in the Boise, Idaho area and releasing original music, which Teresa also arranges and mixes. They collaborated on their releases with several musician friends, including renowned instrumental pianist Lynn Tredeau, who encouraged Teresa to try her hand at nylon-string guitar. Teresa has released instrumental music with Lynn and continues to sing, play, and record new music with her husband.
