“A whimsical folk-pop gem.” - Music is My Muse.
Embark on a melodic journey with ‘Lost You’, an upbeat track that features Terra's delicate vocals and sweeping electronic layers. Written and recorded in her studio on Magnetic Island, Australia, ‘Lost You’ has additional production and was mixed by long-time collaborator Mike Ardagh.
After winning the “Women in Rock” grant in Vancouver, Canada, Terra developed her craft by recording three EP’s and touring in Canada. Terra recorded her first full-length album, Unconventional Shining (2009) in Vancouver. Unconventional Shining was mixed and mastered in Los Angeles by Husky Huskolds (Norah Jones, Yael Naim). For her second full-length endeavor, Leopardwood (2013), Terra drew inspiration from the outback of Australia. After recording the guitars and vocals in rustic shearers quarters, the album was then sent to Canada for production and mixing by Mike Ardagh.
Terra's most recent full album, The Water Album (2020), was inspired by her relocation to the Australian coast. The album, meticulously crafted over six years, was produced and mixed by Mike Ardagh. Lyrically the album touches on themes of resilience, growth, and the art of navigating life's transitions through the lens of water.
Terra lives with her two kids and husband in Australia. She enjoys songwriting, yoga and growing food. www.terragrimard.com
