THE 28TH is a pop rock band from the Philippines with members consisting of vocalist Earl Marquez, lead guitarist Carlo Cruz, bassist Tristan Salitrero and drummer Cloy Salitrero. Influenced mainly by 80's synth vibes, the band’s sound is often described to lean towards the indie synth/pop rock genres.
The group started playing in bars around Manila & Makati early 2018 prior to their official artist launch late August of the same year, giving them a literal & figurative stage to share their art.
Blending dynamic beats with the unmistakable & despondent sound of the ugly truths of life, THE 28TH dives into the music scene with a fresh & buoyant take on what their growing following refers to as 'harsh realities'.
