The Americas are a four piece garage rock explosion from Worcester in the West Midlands. Influenced by impossible dreams, motorcycles and loneliness the band was formed in late 2015 by Harry Payne (vocals/guitar) and Aaron Whittaker (vocals/guitar/keys). Bonding over a mutual appreciation for 60s/70s rock, roll, punk & gospel, the 2 dropped everything current in their lives deciding instead to chase that wild mercury sound. With a view to take their music out on the road they recruited the talent and young blood of Alex Bradshaw (drums) and Max Killing (bass).
